At the joint efforts of many abacus elites over the years,
the national heritage of the abacus has not only seen a
revived learning trend in Taiwan and mainland China but it
has been further spread to all corners of the world across
America, Europe, Asia, and Australia, creating an abacus
hype particularly in overseas Chinese communities in
Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Canada, and Hong Kong.
The Taiwan Chamber of Commerce, priding itself as a
leader in abacus promotion, has shouldered the sacred
mission of promoting the abacus to cover many foreign
grounds to assist in abacus promotional work and conduct
practical teaching exchange at the invitation of worldwide
abacus groups, which not only helps to improve the
sophistication of abacus computing in the host country to
excel the fine Chinese culture but also serves to strength
the international friendship bond.
